Kendra Grittani is an aspiring young cellist planning to make music her career. She started playing at the age of 4 and has completed her 4th year at McGill University for her Bachelors in Performance. She is currently studying with accomplished cellist and Professor, Elizabeth Dolin. Her past teachers include Paul Widner, teacher at the University of Toronto and Glen Gould School, and Juno and Grammy award-nominated cellist Professor Matt Haimovitz. She owes her beginning in music to her first teacher Susan Gagnon, with whom she studied for almost 12 years.
Kendra will be performing with her Chamber group Trio Meira in Viena in May and in Nice, France in July.
Trio Meira won the 2017/2018 McGill Chamber Music Competition, and will be performing/attending the Mozarteum in Vienna.

She will be performing solo and with her McGill Chamber trio on July 12, 7pm at the Chapelle Saint-Pierre à Cagnes-sur-Mer.

Kendra played with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra on October 13 and 15, 2016 as the TSO welcomed pianist Yuja Wang. The concert was amazing, as evidenced by the following reviews:
